US National Security Adviser John Bolton arrived on Monday night at the Russian Foreign Ministry in central Moscow for an official meeting with Russian top diplomat Sergey Lavrov.
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced earlier that Bolton’s meeting with President Vladimir Putin was also a possibility. Peskov stated that the Kremlin expects Bolton to provide explanations to US President Donald Trump’s statement regarding the United States withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty).
