Vladimir Putin attended the plenary session of the 13th East Asia Summit (EAS) in Singapore, on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
Before the beginning of the East Asia Summit, the President of Russia had brief meetings with US Vice President Michael Pence and Assistant to the US President for National Security Affairs John Bolton, as well as with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
The East Asia Summit (EAS) was held in Singapore. The EAS currently comprises 18 countries, including ASEAN members (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) and eight dialogue partners, including Russia (joined the EAS in 2010), the United States, Japan, South Korea, India, China, Australia and New Zealand.
