A telephone conversation took place between Vladimir Putin and the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro. The President of Russia expressed support for the legitimate authorities of Venezuela in the context of an exacerbated domestic political crisis provoked from outside. Mr. Putin stressed that destructive external intervention grossly violates the fundamental norms of international law.
