On Wednesday, Vladimir Putin held a video meeting with the leaders of United Russia and participants in the primaries for the right to run for the State Duma, which ended on May 30.
The President called the preliminary vote of the United Russia in demand. Almost 12 million people took part in it. They selected candidates who will represent the party in the September elections to the State Duma.
Putin began the meeting by thanking the United Russia party for the way its members performed during the pandemic.
The primaries that United Russia held the other day are also an example of courage for political parties, the President said.
